Customer: I’m looking for a book?
Me: Which one are you looking for?
Customer: The book.
Me: Yes, which book are you looking for?
Customer: It’s called “THE BOOK!”
Me: …
Me: …
Me: Um, I can’t look up a book by “The book.” It will overwhelm the search engine because it will bring up everything that’s classified as a book… Are you sure that’s what it’s called? Or do you know the author?
Customer: It’s called “THE BOOK!”
It turns out she was looking for a translation of the bible called “The Story.” You’d think she would at least let us know it was a bible, not a novel or something. Anything to help the search.
